Ps, how do you get your pics to show up on the main text without having to click a link?

Richi 06-13-2006 04:28 AM

How about putting some speaker stands behind there. That record shelf looks a good place to put one, do you have two of those? Maybe, try re arranging your room a little.

if you have your photos hosted somewhere online, copy the properties (the address) and click on the little icon that looks like a mountain. paste the address of the photo in the pop up box.

either that or you can put in the image tags yourself:

No offence, but I don't think I could live with the speakers on the floor like that..

Neither could I, I'm moaning because the stands that my speakers are on are sooo flimsy and crap, what you put your speakers on makes sutch a big difference. And a lot of the times I have seen people puting them on the same table as they'r turntables as well as next to them..not good

solchild 06-18-2006 10:10 AM

Hey Atarien,

is that an old Pioneer 710? how do you like it?

Atarien 06-18-2006 03:51 PM

It’s a pioneer sa 510. I think it's almost the same than a sa710.

I love it (maybe because it belonged to my grand parent hifi system) ;) .

JSD540 - (And the crowd is stamping their feet and clapping) Can you hear it ? ENCORE, ENCORE, "One More Song", "One More Song" Between you and Daniel in Sweden, I am going to have to admit that I am begining to like HOUSE Music - "Yikes" There I said it, but please dont tell anyone. Nice transitons JSD540 and a very smooth mix. The Bronx, Hmmm that is why the mix is so good. (grin)

What is your DJ Name JSD540 ?

johnpuga1982 06-22-2006 08:10 PM

 Converting the masses one club head @ a time... :D

I'm glad you liked it man, Thanks... BTW My DJ name is Ceasar Gomez. My given name is Jose Diaz. There was a DJ known as Jose "The Animal" Diaz when I was growing up and I can't tell you how annoying it became to be referred to as the baby animal (I was very young by todays standards..)... Hence the different name.

Ive finally moved house and got my kit setup, hers a few pix for you all. I've only been in a few weeks but this lot was top of my list to get sorted.

More importantly Ive eventually got hold of the rotary kit for my Vestax PMC-500......which Im loving!! Its taking a bit of getting used to after using linear faders for most of the last 8 or 9 years but my mixes are getting smoother by the day so Im definatley a convert.

Give me a few weeks and i'll get a mix done and posted here for you all.

Minpud,

What's the little yellow Alesis? unit do? (left of the EFX-500)

Thanks.

minpud 06-28-2006 07:38 PM

Hi Matt, Its a little filter unit called the 'Philtre' its got low pass, high pass, band pass and band stop filter settings on it as well as loads of parameters to fiddle with.

i think its a great little thing, with a little practice you can do some great filter sweeps etc. when i saw this a couple of years ago i had to get it. Im not sure if they have been discontinued now, but i only paid £75 for it new. ive always loved my filters and i hunted around for a while trying to find something that would do what i wanted. i looked at the Electrix Filter Queen and had a go on a Vermona Action-Filter but i dont think they're designed to work on your send and return?? i think they're meant to plug in-line with your equipment so you need one for each deck...but maybe im wrong im no expert?

here's a close up if your interested...
