I'm betting they're going to come out with a higher end model. This one doesn't have hot cues or the full platter adjust like CDJ200s. Puts it more in line with CDJ900s.

Does the 2000 have any real competitors? I think Denon released something recently but if I remember correctly pros were put off Denons because of wonky software and slow updates to fix them.

No. A DJ crossover like the RLA/GSA x3000. Basically one input and three outputs: one sub-bass, one full range, and one high pass at 8k-10k. This sale page can probably explain it better than I can....

The XP adds per channel ISOs, crossfader and a full meter. There is also master ISO on the far right hand side of the mixer. It doesn't have the spaciousness of an external ISO but it does the job....

Have you tried looking into creating MPEG-4 files? I've seen mixes where it has the artist and track name in it as they play. Maybe it will let you set markers too. Also, you could look into mixcloud.

Personally I think the fader curve on the 92R is more linear than on the 2016. I can't speak for the fader version.

The 92 doesn't add gain the way the 2016 or a Urei do. 10 on the channel fader is...
