Yeah, regenerative echos are really cool. Especially if you tweak the channel eq's a bit to get it to "morph" into a filtered type sound. Classic Lee Scratch Perry type echoes similar to what can be done with a reel to reel.

I used to DJ through a Mackie 1402 solely for the purpose of per channel aux sends. It even had an fx return, but I chose to run it back into its own channel, which among other things, allowed me to cue up and beat match loops from my Jamman.

I've since switched to a Bozak for the sound quality, and am planning on modding it to allow for a channel selectable aux send.
