Recommended Recording Software for DJ Mixes On a Mac

Hello Everyone,

My old software for recording Bias Peak no longer works (Bummer loved it). I have tried audacity but I get getting drop outs no matter how many settings I adjust for a simple 16 bit hour mix.

What are people using these days for record on a Mac?

I am using 1210s>Bozak Cma 10-2DL>Apogee Duet Firewire>Mac mini 2011 8 GB Ram

Any advice would be appreciated, so my mixes ruined lately due to this.
