Testing out my new Grado dj100i pickup, love it already. Ordering a second one as soon as possible.
Wouldn't call it a booth but it's okay for the moment. Really need to get a rack though.

Mostly reverb and some delay, play a lot of dub/reggae and like to play around with it.

Interesting!
Never seen one in a DJ setup but I can imagine using it in that genres.

holy shit. I only heard the small near field monitors and was extremely impressed. But also about the price.
That is no cheap gear!

Good guess with the Mark Levensons but not correct.
These are Lamm Audio M2.2 Hybrid mono-blocks. Made here in Brooklyn NYC by a Russian guy who makes some incredible sounding equipment. If you are into great sounding home audio he's worth looking into. His equipment is extremely well built and quite first rate. I have heard amplifiers that cost 4 times as much that don't sound anywhere near as good. I also like the hybrid design as it gives you some tube character with solid state power output.
Definitely not cheap but I was lucky to get them at a great price.
They do get hot as they are convectional cooled but the reason they are in the fireplace is that they are almost 2 foot deep and wouldn't fit anywhere else.
I'm extremely happy with the sound of the speakers. They have amazing low frequency response which is great given the music I listen to. Fantastic staging as well. The most amazing thing I noticed with these speakers is the that they sound quite uniform regardless of the level. There is relatively the same bass as mids and highs either at low or high levels.
Now I don't know what I should be more happy with that my wife let me indulge with some decent home audio gear or the fact she allowed my to put them in our 1 bedroom NYC apartment.
Rotary Dreams, I will be in Mykonos in August so definitely come and say hello. I'll have a T shirt for you so make sure you do.
Best
George

Yeah that mixer has been doing some flying lately.
We serviced it and sent it back to Greece.
It got held up in customs for ever then got sent back to me.
I am going to have someone carry it over so it gets there this time.
George

Ooh, Lamm!
I'd love to hear their Phono preamp one of these days.
Still jealous.

Two of my faves!!!
I owned an EPS16+ for many years, it was my main workstation. Love that era of Ensoniq OS.
And the Mini-Korg, one of the most underrated monosynths out there. My friend had one and I couldn't believe how dope it sounded. He loved it so much he later tracked down a Maxi-Korg and bought it too. If you EVER get the chance, the Maxi-Korg is just insane. Just like its little brother but the rabbit hole goes even deeper

Its my first post here, might as well start it with something Im not sure has ever been seen on this forum
what can I say? its a Freevox. picked it up for 135 euros (new it costs close to 1900) from a rental company. faders are still in great condition (alps K-types) just like the rotary pots (also ALPS) the PFL level meter on the other hand has some not working LED's
