cheapest rotary to date?

Hey guys, I might have found the cheapest rotary mixer yet:
http://www.whybuynew.co.uk/clearance-bargains/pre-owned-intimidation-apex-gold-mixer.htm

Intimidation is a brand with quite some history behind it, but since this mixer is very cheap, lacks proper in and outputs (very basic) is it actually any good?

a friend of mine owned the mixer, when it came out in the late 90´s. it was okay, fun to mix with.
soundwise i can´t really tell, ´cause we were about 19 or 20 back then and had connected it to some rather cheap stereo-set.
the crossfader is really stiff.

i think, i read somewhere, that the mixer´s output is mono. does anybody know if this is true?

I have one too, the output wasn't mono. But it did have an interesting output for the EQs, when panning only the high and mids would move not the bass.

The "Blue" was the only Intimidation that was in mono.

The "idea" behind that was, if you are in a nightclub the chances are very little that you are in the right spot for stereo. So they made it in mono, this is what the designer told me.
I was like: whatever, I prefer my mixer in stereo!

Undoubtedly one of the most embarrasing manufacturers of dj mixers was Intimidation. They also made rotary kills and kill switches. All these mixers and outboard EQs were mono (facepalm). I think the Apex was mono initially util Intimidation released a newer version in stereo. I guess some djs could not tell the difference between stereo and mono. I remember getting on deja new and battling it out with Steve. I am not sure if I am the reason the company eventually failed.
