Ruber Magnet Cover?

Hi.

I resonantly ordered two Eminence Omega Pro drivers, one of them has a rubber cover over the magnet the other doesn’t?

I can't see how this could make any difference to the speaker, but i thought I should check before I use them as it does seem a little odd?

Rubber magnet covers

It makes no difference sonically. All it will do is protect the magnet from being chipped! However, once loaded its of no consequence!
