But seriously , if someone tries it please post your results. I'm not that brave yet.
Sometimes I get used records and they have an oily film on them that alchohol , lighter fluid , or expensive record cleaner doesn't take off. I'd like to know if it works with that problem.

I go home depot today I post what i see and take pics,

i will try with a record that his old and damaged, Donna Summer love to love you , i will first cleaned with all my cleaners, methods, etc etc.

and after that i will use the glue to see if some dirt or stuff attached to the record can be cleaned, .

I dont mind to spend time waiting Im also do that before sleep, Im not going to be sitting in front of the record watching the metamorphosis,

Will be fun

I'm no chemist..

...so, I wonder if silicon will work? I have a tube laying around somewhere.....

I think the theory is definately sound as long as there is no chemical reaction or bond between the "glue" used and the record.
