Regardless it's real or not, I don't like,
-It has only 5 channels.
-No line selector per channel. I can live without the gain control.

I do in three situations -

1) When I want to cut a track in and out. I set the crossfader curve to a slight ramp for that vacuum effect. Can't really do that with the channel rotaries.

2) If I'm doing a lot of EQ work while blending a mix. I only have two hands.

3) Scratching

I might steel that idea #1 John thats a lot less screwing around than trying to do it with the channel faders!
