need help!!!!!!!!

ok im buying the new behringer deq2496 digital eq/processor and the behringer cx2310 xover i know this stuff aint great but dont wanna spend alot of cash im planing on getting a urei 1620. Now will the eq/processor effect the sound of the urei? or will i still get that great sound from it????? thx for any help only wanna buy gear once not keep changing

Lets put it this way, you will get BETTER sound with the Urei then another, modern mixer! However, you wont get the best you can from the Urei! The digital EQ/Crossover will have a definite influence on your sound. You can get it to work pretty good, but the best results are obtained by having the best sounding components in the ENTIRE signal chain.

But, I think you could get somewhat satisfactory results with proper setup and careful adjustment.

If your really serious about only buying gear ONCE then I would save up, and buy the best from the get go. Whether its digital or analog, the top shelf is always the best!
