"The Fisher" Rotary Pre-Amp Mixer

Here is a quick back story to set up this attached picture....

TekServe on 23rd st in NYC is a landmark location for Mac/Apple users for a very long time. And anyone that has been in the store knows its an amazing place to shop, get repairs done and learn about vintage Mac/Apple products dating back almost 40 years!

They also have an amazing collection of vintage cameras, tube amps, reel 2 reel and everything Vinatge and Geeky (like we all like it)

Well the other day I was there to do a Presonus Mixer demo and I came across this beauty. I got extremely excited and thought of my fellow Wavemusic brothers, so I snapped a few pics. I even made them an offer and they sternly stated that all Vintage pieces are not for sale. DAMN IT!

This is called "The Fisher" Stereophonic its a tube rotary mixer!

Enjoy

Sorry for the shitty pic I was nervous some one would get pissed I was taking a pic!

It's a Fisher 400-C. While it is a very nice and highly sought after tube pre, it is not a mixer. In good shape it could fetch up to a few grand. But again it isn't a mixer. The knobs are balance, tone control, volume, stereo output mode.....

Cheers,

-Barton
