Urei 1620 on the bay right now - not mine

Thought I'd give the Wave faithful a heads up on something I stumbled on the Bay.

There's a PRISTINE original 1620 up at the moment, but it's been mislisted as a URIE. You'll find it if you search for URIE 1620.

I can't be buying another mixer right now, but I thought there might well be someone on here who might be interested.

It looks like it was brand new. Not exactly cheap though.

I don't know, it seemed to be a pretty good price for an effectively new original Urei. I've never seen one come up in that good condition before.

I was humming and hawing about buying it, I don't need another mixer but it was just so clean and in a flightcase so it was tempting.

I'm now trying to get the ebay gods to list an equally nice urei at a nicer price.

That looks seriously mean.
I had the same thing done to my Bozak - removed balance and eq controls. If you never use them, then why keep them?

Guess I would rather go for an ARS-4100 for that price :-)

not me, if I wanted Urei-type functionality, I'd get a urei or 2016/crest/etc

to me the ARS design/functionality is closer in design to the old Audioarts units
