Looks like a pretty generic phono stage to me. Definitely not the ideal unit but can be helpful if you don't have a 3rd phono card in your Urei/Bozak (seen that done a club with a world class system before).
As bossa nolyx pointed out, the best way to figure out its sound quality is probably an A/B test against something you are used to listen to.
As for reselling, I wouldn't count on making money on this at all. The great price you paid is likely what it's really worth.
