Thanks in advance.

a quick google search for 36 inch mirror ball gives plenty of shops. If you have a big rental company nearby (that do festivals and the like) call them, they can help you if you ask nicely

Depends on where you are, but if you're in Europe you can get a 100cm (~40") one here:

Note that above 50cm (20"), mirror balls get really expensive, since the inside of the bigger ones is more complicated to withstand the size and weight.

This one has been for sale at my local "ebay" for ages, and recently it reappeared for sale again. Apparently it's the biggest mirror ball in Norway. Used to hang at a so called "club" with the name Stereo. Was out of business within a year or so I think...
Anyway, it's 2 meters in diameter, lol. That's 78.74"!!!

I know it's probably out of question to buy it, but I still thought it would be fun to post though...

Ole, that's totally massive. It must weigh a ton :P
When getting a monster like that you don't only have to consider the cost of the mirror ball itself, but also reinforcing the ceiling and getting a powerful motor for it.

Shihp001,

Something I tried a while back was alibaba.com, it's a site for connecting with Chinese factories and buying things. There are a number of companies on there who make custom size mirror balls for waaay less than you buy them for in the West. It'll take some time to get in touch with them and get a response though.

Let me know what you find, I'm always interested in good deals on +20" disco balls; daniel is right, the price goes crazy beyond that size.
