Fabric

It appears to be a Martin Audio Based system. Details of the club type systems are on Martin site.

Sounds pretty damm good the few times I went.

the ure is not in there since quite a while. they have the a&h v6 in the main room.

i didn't like the bodysonic floor in the main room. it appears to me as being to artificial. bass is air pressure. and when you walk around in fabric your mind tells you it is so rock solid, that nothing could make the floor shake. but it shakes.

Sanj is away until Monday, but I've posted him a link and we can see if he gets time to participate (*unlikely* - he works long hours, but hopefully he'll get time to email a list).

I know minimal info, but here it is:

Tech SLs / Shure White-Label / Isonoe Feet (all rooms)
Pioneer CD players (all rooms)
A+H mixers (all rooms, V6 in main)

BSS Soundweb (all rooms)
Martin Amps + Cabs (all rooms)

What you guys really want to know is the Cab info...hopefully we'll have more info next week...

Justin

edit: They did have UREi 1620LE serial no. 1 or 2 (can't remember), but they've gone back to the V6 and the 1620 only comes out when requested.

Fabrics main room uses martin w8l line array boxes, but not in a traditional line array. The following article overviews the systems in the different rooms.

http://www.martin-audio.com/edge/THE_EDGE6/p6.html

I havent been, but by all accounts I have heard, it is the superclub of europe. Does that really mean anything? A guy I know that manages some decent level act toured through there and reported "thats what techno is supposed to sound like." I dont know what he compared it with, but the local systems here just dont have that kind of money behind them. Friends have visited and were not impressed with the experience. Maybe the sound was good, music good, interesting club design or whatever, but the crowd left something to be desired.

Still, if I ever visit london, you better believe I'll check it out. The End is also highly regarded for london.

IMHO Fabric is the best sound in london, followed by plastic people (very small club) then Ministry, then The End (the end is very loud and can be punishing on the ears after several hours)

Der Geile Ami - I've just been to the Panorama Bar in Berlin, don't know the spec but sounded ace and very cool club and crowd (Cadenza Records night)

thats is all

Oh didnt mean the end had a good PA, just that I hear the parties are good.

Panorama Bar has some nice gear, but I totally feel the system is improper. Really, a one meter small format line array - whats the point? I can think of a few martin audio solutions that would perform better. However, Luciano is really fucking good at working a PA.
