Advice

Hi Guys well a friend of mine is trying to get some pair monitors just to mix and maybe get drunk listening his records.

I men i can recomend him many vintage equipment but now i dont know whay should he can get now because there are many manufacturers outhere

he needs a self powered speakers with great sound,

Of course he dont want any EON JBL, or Macki or similars, i was thinking in somethinmg more like home big speakers with 3 way system enclosure (if there are some good "non active" speakers will be great too)

Guys what you recomend to purchase

the truths have received great reviews which was part of the reason i decided to purchase them. like you said LuvLatins, monitors are a personal issue and i personally do not like the truths. i was pretty happy with them when using them to actually make music, but for mixing they really turned me off. maybe i should have added a sub, to fatten things up. i sold them and put a set of JBL 4301Bs in their place. i'm much happier now. - jeff h

Funny you say that Jeff, I have a JBL PSW 1200 Sub hooked up also which is probably why I love them.
