Very nice

Very, very nice. It's always nice to see someone using a Bozak mixer in a mobile atmosphere.

Hey there guys, finally got round to making a box for mobile events. I never thought I would do this as I usually use my old Pioneer 600 for bars/parties, but once you've tasted the sound of Bozak/Urei, there's no going back ! Just this and 2 x 1210's and I'm ready to go...

I'll be taking this out to a party for the first time tonight - I aim only to use this for select parties. By the way the party is in a 4th floor apartment with no lift in the building - hence no console-type rigs!

Wish I had a Urei sticker for the back also...

CJ Branda.

Wow that is a nice rack!
And how the hell do you keep your Urei so clean lol? I try to clean mine up every month or so otherwise it's full of dust, fingerprints/finger nail scratches around knobs, chocolate and anything else lol

Thanks Martin! I just use a soft brush around the face plate and controls for dust before every mix. Choco-holic, eh? Never mind - I'll try to keep to my beers well away from the mixer tonight - get's tough when your into a groove though !

Thanks, the funny thing is we had two mixer setups that night running into the sound system. I had mine and my friend had one of those numark digital mixers to use with virtual dj or something like that.. He had to turn his bass up to get it to the thump and I had to turn mine down because it was too much.. I also had a boat load of head room. He was in the red giving his mixer all it had, my master was no where near as high as his. Such an awsome mixer, I'm glad I spent a small fortune on it.. I just have to get a high quality direct box and ditch that behringer eq. I know, I know.. you don't have to say it..

Hey - your box looks great! I am thinking of having a friend build me a custom one for my new 1620LE... does anyone else have a suggestion for a rack that could manage to both be free-standing (almost vertical to slightly sloped forward) OR clip to the front of a couple of coffins (kind of hanging over the edge of the table or whatever)?

Or just in general, are there any really shallow commercial 3-4RU cases that will work well? I was thinking of just using a shallow flight case and then drilling holes in the side and top to run cables through - that way I could just have it sit straight up in front of the turntables.

Would definitely love to see some more pictures of peoples' mobile setups, especially those with rotary mixers.
