Recommended books about sound system design?
Hello, new member here with a question I've been wondering about:
I'm interested in designing and building sound systems. I'm studying electronics at the moment, so soldering, designing and building circuit diagrams and PCB's etc etc is not a problem.
I'm lacking, however, a good source on the specific subject of practical sound system designing and building.
I already own a book called Sound System Engineering, which frankly, goes a bit over my head with my current level of knowledge. It's mostly a math book, with no real life examples or instructions on how to choose materials, components etc etc. Not saying it's a bad book, it's just not something a beginner like me could easily comprehend.
So, are there any other books or resources I should look for? Something practical, with plenty of examples. Or is sound system building a black art that can only be really learned by getting a master of the subject to personally teach you?
