What can you guys tell me about Altec Lansing 920 8B?
like replacement diaphragms to get better response?
got some old amps too!
Altec Lansing 9444B and 9442A. want feedback.
keep them or junk them?

you mean the 902-8B?
I think these have the higher power rated diaphragms and loading caps...
but check, it's hard to say without popping them open....

you can go to aluminum, and remove the loadign caps, decreased power handling, increases bandwidth....

902-8B should have the tangerine phase plugs....



Great plains audio is your source for driver repair/rebuilding if necessary...

no.that was the correct model.
its a coaxial speaker.
but its probably a 900 series hf driver though.
they do not cover it at great plains.

dome tweeter according to the sheet, so not a 90* series compression driver....
